Chocolate Notes
How long are my chocolates good for?
As our chocolates are handmade with the finest ingredients/chocolate and no preservatives, they are best enjoyed within 7 days of receiving for optimal freshness.
Where should I store my products?
Chocolates/Sticks: Store in a cool, dry place (between 55-65F). Preferably in a cool room, wine fridge, or if necessary, the refrigerator. If you place in the refrigerator, please keep chocolates in their box and for extra protection, wrap in Saran Wrap for extra care. Remove from fridge about 15-20 minutes before eating, keep them in the plastic until they've reached room temperature to avoid the chocolates "sweating".
Caramel Jars: Store in the refrigerator. Remove lid and microwave for 20 seconds to use. Put remaining caramel back into the refrigerator. Caramel is good for up to 3 months in the refrigerator.
What if I have an allergy?
All of our chocolates are made in the same kitchen, so all products may contain nuts, soy, milk, egg, and gluten.
How do you ship?
Given the delicate nature of our handmade chocolates, we ship Monday-Wednesdays via express, so your packages should arrive before the weekend. We also offer daily local delivery/meet up in Old Lyme, CT.
